In his Letter to the Philippians, Paul says to have no anxiety but rather to think about what is true, honorable, and just; what is pure, lovely, and gracious; and anything excellent and worthy of praise. When we contemplate the good around us instead of dwelling on the negative, we are reminded that life is a gift, and that we play a role in God’s plan to redeem the world.
